Shooting Tips
- Lock white balance to Kelvin 5250K for a consistent warm tone across frames.
- Use DR400 to preserve highlights and keep gentle midtones; compensate with +1/3 EV for warmer, fuller midtones.
- Keep sharpness low and noise reduction off to preserve organic texture; the weak/small grain gives a fine film-like texture without obscuring detail.
- Shoot side-lit late-afternoon light — rust and peeling paint catch the warm highlights and soft shadows beautifully.
- For a slightly more faded look, try reducing Color to -1 or increasing Grain to Strong/Small after testing a few frames.
